For Nottingham's families most in need, we offer a free food provision service, currently standing as the city's largest independant Food Bank. During a time when we're experiencing the biggest squeeze on income in a generation, we are providing weekly parcels comprising a balanced diet, aiming to eliminate the worry of rising supermarket costs.

We host small-group cooking classes to help people learn new skills in the kitchen, using low-cost, sustainable and nutritious foods, such as those received in our food parcels - simultaneously building independance, confidence and self esteem.

A joint Muslim / Jewish charity project

The Uniform Project is about tackling the high cost of school uniforms and creating more environmental sustainability through creating a route to recycle quality, cleaned and repaired clothes to families in need.

Food waste shouldn’t coexist with people struggling to afford nutritious food. To tackle this imbalance, FoodPrint offers a social supermarket selling surplus food at reduced rates. It also acts as a distribution network, intercepting food that would otherwise go to landfill.

The contribution of Muslims in this country has been wide and vast. Our project on the Muslim contribution to the Second World War is an important part of the understanding of this contribution that is oft forgotten.

Correcting educational inequalities is at the heart of what we do, built on the belief that modern education needs to cater towards an ever changing and adapting world.

Through openness, transparency, and democracy, we aim to create a vibrant and dynamic organisation to address the longstanding issues around institutional racism in Nottingham.
